Ralphs Ralphs is a California statewide grocery store chain that gives back through their Community Contribution program. Every time you shop, The Peace Project earns a percentage of your purchase – up to 5%.

Go to www.ralphs.com and create a free account by clicking on “Create an account” toward the top right corner of the page. After signing up, follow the prompts and enter your Ralphs Rewards Card number, email preferences, etc.

After you create an account, link your account with “The Peace Project” by editing your Community Contribution Information on your Profile Page.

CURRENT INITIATIVES

Operation rise

On September 21, 2011, World Peace Day, The Peace Project implemented one of the most dramatic social efforts in recent history by distributing 10,000 pairs of crutches and repair parts across the country of Sierra Leone. We're still getting crutches out to people in the most remote areas. Donate $25 now and change someone's life forever.

Join us in creating Sierra Leone's first Peace Center -- a multi-use cultural and training facility that will revitalize the Aberdeen Amputee Community and be used as the basis for a community development model.

The Peace Team

Getting people working is a critical step towards sustainable peace. All of The Peace Project's initiatives are developed to move adults in this direction, but none more so than The Peace Team whereby we'll create training programs that get people working within months.

WATER = LIFE

Access to clean drinking water is one of the greatest fundamental challenges in Sierra Leone -- the critical lack (especially in rural areas) dramatically increases risks of waterborne illnesses, causes other health issues, and negatively impacts education. Moving forward into 2012 and beyond, The Peace Project's goal is to lead an initiative that will ensure everyone in Sierra Leone has access to clean water within three years.
